Gas Detection and Proving Systems

In recent years TCS has become synonymous with gas detection and gas pressure proving systems. Utilising only the highest quality products from this developing marketplace we are able to design, supply, install commission and maintain a full range of products to suit all requirements.

We have listed below some typical products and applications for these systems.

The Merlin GSP4 system is a 4 channel gas detection system often used in boiler house and plant room applications. The GSP4 is available with point detectors capable of sensing natural gas, carbon monoxide and LPG in any combination. Fuseible links and emergency stops can also be used to provide automatic and manual actuation of a gas solenoid valves upon gas detection.

This system can also be interfaced with existing BMS and fire detection systems. Utilising a 24V D.C output on 'gas detected', a voice activated sounder strobe unit can be connected to the system with a bespoke message alerting building occupants of an alarm condition.

The Merlin 2000C Gas Safety System is often used in kitchen installations. This system combines modern digital gas proving technology with reliable ventilation interlocking techniques in one clear concise panel. Combining these features provides initial capital cost savings by reducing installation time. This product is usually selected when kitchen appliances are not complete with flame failure devices, therefore gas pressure proving is required.
