Fire System Installation

Our installation teams provide us with the ability to install our fire alarm systems to various scales from a multi panel networked system to a single zone conventional system. Our installers are experienced in working on green field newly constructed sites and within existing buildings that are in need of a fire system upgrade.

Our installation teams are made up of suitably qualified Technicians and assistants all of which are graded under the Joint Industry Board Scheme and all holding current ECS cards which demonstrate a level of health & safety awareness.

All system installations are carried out in line with the IEE Wiring Regulations and as we are accredited by the FSA the standard of our installations is frequently audited.

All system installations regardless of size are project managed and part of this process includes documented risk assessments and method statements being undertaken prior and during the period of contract works.

As members of Constructionline, CHAS and the Safe Contractor schemes you can be assured that our installations are carried out in a considerate, efficient and safely manner.

On completion of the contract works the installation will be certified in line with BS7671 and BS5839 which records various values such as cable test results.

When the installation has been completed and certified our Commissioning Technicians enter into their stage of work. Their role is to programme and test the correct operation of the fire control equipment, system detectors and alarm devices. This Technician ensures that the system has been installed and functions in line with the parameters of the system design and current legislation. The same Technician would also provide the building user with a system handover illustrating on how to operate the system and issuing the system logbook and operation and maintenance instructions. At this stage the responsibility of the system is then handed over to the client by means of a formal document called an Acceptance Certificate which is signed by both the client and the Technician.
