We specialise in the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of various electro technical detection and Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting systems. We also offer a fully comprehensive electrical installation inspection & fixed wire testing service in line with the recommendations of BS7671 and guidance note 3 with additional services including power quality, load profiling and load monitoring. Our team operate throughout the North East including Middlesbrough, Stockton, Newcastle, Sunderland, Hartlepool and other surrounding areas.

Fire Systems

Fire detection and alarm systems are designed to protect both property and life. The type of system required for each building is established by a fire risk assessment. Fire systems comprise of a control panels which communicate with the detection devices (smoke detectors, manual call points heat detectors etc) and the alarm devices (electronic sounders and visual alarms). Systems are commonly wired in fire rated cable however there are wireless systems available that operate on radio frequency. Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting or escape lighting is designed to provide adequate lighting for occupants to vacate a building when the conventional lighting systems fail, due to a power failure caused by a fire or emergency situation.

There are 2 types of emergency lighting systems; one is self contained emergency lighting which is based on the individual emergency luminaire having a self contained battery within its housing. In the event of a power failure the standby battery is energised and the emergency luminaire is illuminated.

The second type of system is a central battery system. This is based on the battery being located in a separate location and the emergency luminaires are wired in fire rated cable from the central battery system. In the event of power failure the central battery energises the emergency luminaries making a safe evacuation from the building possible.

Fixed Wire Testing ( Electrical Installation Testing )

Electricity is the most versatile and convenient source of energy known to man. However is can be potentially dangerous if the system has not been properly designed, installed, operated and maintained. Invariably electrical installations are modified and extended over time to serve additional equipment and requirements. Frequently these additions were not anticipated in the original design and may affect the integrity of the installation. Warranty

All of our work is covered by a 12 month warranty, with a number of our products being covered by a 3 year warranty. All warranties are subject to the system equipment being maintained by our company throughout the warranty period.
In addition to this as an ECA Member Company all work is further covered by their Warranty & Bond Scheme.
